Padayon: DOH-USAID Shared Journey Towards Healthy Pilipinas – A Celebration of Achievements and Hope
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Philippines Office of Health (OH) extends sincere appreciation for our valued partnership in addressing the healthcare needs of the Filipino people.
We are pleased to announce the culminating activity of USAID’s health projects from 2018 to 2024, themed “Padayon: The DOH-USAID Shared Journey Towards a Healthy Pilipinas,” took place this January 31, 2024, at the Quezon City Experience Museum Complex.
TBpeople Philippines is privileged to be invited to this significant event, showcasing the fruitful collaboration among the Department of Health (DOH), USAID, local government units, and implementing partners. Together, these partnerships have significantly contributed to enhancing access to quality health services for Filipinos nationwide.
This momentous occasion coincides with the visit of USAID Assistant Administrator, Dr. Atul Gawande, who will serve as the distinguished keynote speaker alongside Secretary of Health Teodoro Herbosa.
Adding a touch of inspiration to the occasion, one of our youngest TB Survivor Advocates, Kiian, aged 8, actively participated. Kiian’s heartwarming Message of Hope resonated deeply with participants, leaving them touched, inspired, and awakened to the importance of redoubling efforts to assist those in need, especially the younger generation.
We extend our gratitude to all partners and participants who joined us in this celebration of collaborative achievements.
