We are not exempted from the issue of disability as a group of #Tuberculosis Survivors because our founder and president, Ms. Louie, is herself a PWD as a result of TB, as well as other TB Survivors, including those still on treatment, now have impairments as a product of TB. As a result, we raised awareness of PWDs’ right to full access to healthcare facilities and others, which should be acknowledged and emphasized.

It’s time we start taking notice of the needs of our fellow citizens who have disabilities. Everyone has a right to enjoy every opportunity available to others without any hindrances, including those who face physical or intellectual challenges. We need to educate ourselves about their struggles and actively take steps to support them fully. Achieving an inclusive society where no one is left behind requires collective effort and responsibility.

This activity is supported by Stop TB Partnership Challenge Facility for Civil Society (CFCS) Round 10
