TBpeople Philippines participated at the GEDSI Assessment Validation Workshop

TBPeople Philippines proudly participates in the Validation Meeting on the Rapid GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion) Assessment of the HIV Response.’ a UNITAIDS project. TBpeople’s participation on this project is a big step towards the GEDSI focus for Tuberculosis programs as well.

TBpeople Philippines president Ma.Eloisa Zepeda Teng and communications officer Edilberto Casil, effectively represented the disability sector and detailed the need for the implementation of accessibility laws and current systems in the country regarding the disability federations implemented laws and policies. Together, we work towards a more inclusive and equal healthcare system for all, addressing gender equality, disability, and social inclusion in the fight against HIV.
