Our Story
At TB People PH, we believe that ending tuberculosis requires more than just clinical solutions—it demands strategic action rooted in community leadership, innovation, and inclusive partnerships. That’s why we developed the 4Es Initiative, a comprehensive approach that reflects our commitment to people-centered TB response.
Through Enlighten, Ease, Eradicate, and Empower, we engage key stakeholders—from survivors and health workers to policymakers and private partners—to create sustainable change across all levels of TB care, prevention, and advocacy.
Information is the first line of defense against TB. Under Enlighten, we focus on awareness and education through RHU Orientations, the Zero TB Forum (ZTF), TB in the Workplace programs, and strategic social media engagement. We also improve community knowledge and data through active case-finding surveys, redefining the way awareness and detection go hand in hand.

We aim to reduce the burden of TB by making treatment, information, and support more accessible. Ease brings together tools like the Treatment Buddy system, Healthylungs.ph (formerly TBFree PH), the OneImpact App, and the upcoming TBX platform. We also contribute to research through patient interviews, clinical trials, and BPaL operational studies, while creating support structures like Community Advisory Boards (CABs) and developing accessible IEC materials.

Eliminating TB requires targeted interventions and bold partnerships. Through Eradicate, we drive efforts such as the 90-90-90 TB Preventive Treatment strategy, promote access to IGRA testing, and build alliances with NGOs, faith-based organizations, local authorities, and media. Our aim is to bridge policy and practice, aligning local efforts with global eradication goals.

People affected by TB must be at the center of the solution. Empower focuses on uplifting survivor voices and strengthening community leadership through initiatives like Fast Track the Cure, Stop TB Partnership collaborations, and discipleship programs. We advocate for inclusivity through TBility (TB + Disability) and work to expand access to diagnostics through private sector partnerships, market engagement, and participation in the Philippine Country Coordinating Mechanism.
