This March 8, 2023, TBpeoplePH introduced the organization to the Barangay Hall Officials of Talon Dos Las Pinas Chairman Arnold Reyes and for the collaboration with the sectors of Senior Citizens President Tony Garcia and his officer Mr. Julian Teoxon Jr., PWD Coordinator Evangeline Abrenica, Kagawad on Health Jong Dizon, and the Health Center Health Workers Ms. Imelda Buñao and Ms. Imelda Barrera on how to start building awareness of the TB issues in the barangay and in the whole city.

On this day, TBpeoplePH was able to provide valuable information on how the barangay can join forces and help raise awareness about tuberculosis (TB). The officials discussed what measures can be taken to create a safe environment for those affected by TB in their community. Through collaboration with various organizations and sectors in the city, people are encouraged to spread knowledge about TB prevention and control, as well as ways to seek early treatment. Furthermore, getting active in raising awareness of TB issues, will greatly contribute to reducing the transmission rate of the disease. Everyone at the meeting felt optimistic that through collective efforts, they can bring attention to TB and help lower its prevalence in their area. This participation is supported by Stop TB Partnership Challenge Facility for Civil Society (CFCS). #TBpeoplePH#TBFreePH#LasPinas#TalonDos#PWDs#SeniorCitizens#Community#Tuberculosis#TibayNgBayanihangPinoy
