TBPeople Philippines Participated in Active Case Finding Initiative in Davao City
TBPeople Philippines, in collaboration with the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Davao Local Government Unit (LGU), has taken a proactive approach in its fight against COVID-19 through an active case-finding initiative in Davao City. This initiative seeks to enhance awareness of tuberculosis (TB) within the Davaoeño community while also incorporating elements of joy and entertainment to engage the public.
The primary objective of this collaborative effort is to raise awareness about TB and its impact on the community. Through a series of engaging activities, TBPeople Philippines aims to promote the organization’s mission, educate the public about TB, introduce the innovative Fast Track the Cure #6MonthsMax treatment for drug-resistant TB, and advocate for the adoption of the One Impact App for TB management.
The event brings together the expertise and resources of TBPeople Philippines, PBSP, USAID, and the Davao LGU to drive meaningful change and promote a TB-aware Davaoeño community. As the initiative gains momentum, it is poised to inspire positive change and contribute to the collective efforts to combat TB while encouraging a culture of health and well-being in the Davaoeño community.
